This is different from all the other safety tubes
for several reasons. This is the only one that stands
upright that can be deployed at any depth. This diver
down tube is designed to be deployed while the dive is
still under the water!...BEFORE he surfaces and is
placed at risk by boat traffic. All you do is inflate it
and let it go, it will be standing upright at the
surface because of the lead weighted base alerting and
warning the boaters that a diver is below. This is a
great safety device and makes finding you dive buddy
easy day or night. This tube has a clear light holder
pocket that can be used with a chemical glow stick or a
Glo-Toob electronic marker light. This bottom fill tube
model is designed to be filled from the divers regulator
2nd stage by just pressing the purge button so you don’t
have to blow into anything! It also has a standard oral
inflator valve for above water use. A built in over
pressure relief valve allows the expanding air to vent
before the buoy is damaged so this can be used as an
emergency buoy, or Jersey up line for performing
decompression stops.
