What is the difference between shopping in the store or
on the internet?
In store pricing reflects the preferred level of
customer service in store, the safety and convenience of
being able to "touch it and feel it" prior to
purchasing, and knowing that what you have selected is
correct, and the sizing is accurate. Our staff is cross
trained as certified Scuba instructors, and certified
factory repair technicians. This gives our customers
access to knowledgeable and skilled experts in
equipment, not just a salesmen.
In store customers also gain the valuable advantage of
faster product warranty service, repairs, testing, and
our award winning factory certified support. You also
will receive a limited warranty, and free inspections
and assembly of life support components on all new
products purchased in the store. Discount internet
pricing as shown on www.UniversalDistributors.US
reflects the inherent risk, and inconvenience of
internet orders and additional shipping expenses. Those
products not purchased in store will only have a limited
factory warranty. |
QUESTION: Why
is internet shopping usually appear cheaper?
Sometimes the internet
purchase can actually be more expensive. Should
you purchase a product that does not fit properly, or
meet your needs? It has to be returned for whatever the
reason you can expect a considerable delays in delivery,
and additional freight charges. If you reside in Texas
you still have to pay the state sales tax.
Store level prices reflect the additional expense of
state and city sales tax collection, and the burden of
state inventory taxes, furniture & fixture taxes,
insurance, permits, and the assortment of the city of
Houston taxes. Although our prices are extremely
competitive, and in many cases lower than our authorized
dealer competitors, there are factors beyond our
control. Discounted direct sales on the internet are
typically used by the assorted Scuba manufacturers to
dispose of obsolete, and discontinued equipment. We do
not sell factory seconds, refurbished, used, stolen, or
gray market equipment as new products as some internet
competitors do. |

binoculars and digital camera packages. We are real
authorized Canon dealers, and all of our Canon products
are new, and include a real USA & Canada factory
warranty! We do not sell the questionable gray market
products, or clones from Asia with only a limited
international warranty. Our Canon product prices can
also be much less expensive because we do not pad the
shipping and handling charges as most internet dealers
do. Why should you have to pay $59.95 for ground
shipping of a 2 pound package when the actual cost is
